I'm all with ya Fea. He just had to take out one of my most favorite parts of RotK. I really wanted to see all the hobbits having weapons. That would have been great! But no. . .

Honestly! That whole scene was my fav! Then it's gone.. and I'm left with sadness.. *sigh*. *creeps back into hole of sadness because of no scourging*

I was really mad when they didn't put that in the movie. When I read the books, I stayed up especally late to read that part, cause it was sooooooo good. I figured that they were going to leave that part out of the movie, but I was still dissipointed when they did.

It would've been cool to see little country-side hobbits holding weapons and seeing them kick Saruman's...sry... I was looking forward seeing Grima do that surprise attack on Saruman......that would've been funny and entertaining. I can't believe he took that out...

well it might be a bit late to post here, but i'm still annoyed that PJ cut the scourging of the shire out of the movie. it was such a great chapter in the book, and showed what the hobbits were really capable of.
